make*do*mend: Kids Summer Sewing Camp —July 6 - 10, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Welcome to the wonderful world of sewing, which is a week of fun (and some hard focus work) for our campers! We’re very excited to offer these camps each year for our younger friends. It’s ideal for children ages 8 and up, who are new to sewing and want to learn more and enjoy (and thrive in) group settings. Each day will bring a new project as well as working on a bigger project throughout the week.
The camp runs for five consecutive days 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., includes a snack (children with special dietary restrictions or preferences are encouraged to bring their own for optimal enjoyment) and all materials.
This is a machine sewing-based camp for ages 8 and up, or going into second grade in the fall (please honor this age limit, it’s important children have a strong understanding and demonstration of positive classroom behaviors, letters, numbers, etc.).
Experience Level: Never sewn or sewn a lot, please see above for minimum requirements
Materials Needed: All tools and materials provided by Drygoods Design
Cost: Each week session is $240 (individual days and/or proration for missed days not available), includes all materials
All classes and camps require prepayment and registration. In some cases, day-of sign up is available. Classes and camps are non-refundable and are held to a strict cancellation policy. We are unable to prorate tuition for missed or non-attended days. Cancellations received 72 hours before the first day of camp, will be able to redistribute their class fees to another class or camp. Cancellations received less than 72 hours before the first day of camp or no-shows forfeit their class fees. We are unable guarantee the same class or session will be available for rescheduling.
