make*do*mend: Beginning Apparel Your First Dress (Dress No. 2) - Wednesdays, March 14 and 21 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
We've watched our past apparel students make so many variations of this sweet pattern, that we had to add it to our class lineup, and even better, part of our intro to apparel trilogy, - Dress No. 2 from 100 Acts of Sewing.
In this two-part class, you'll learn how to work with measurements, sleeves, and pockets, among many other tips and tricks. With its no-fuss approach this pattern has plenty of options for customization after you've made it in class.
Experience Level: Advanced Beginner in Sewing/Beginner Apparel (you feel pretty comfortable on the machine, you're getting the ideas and concepts around sewing but haven't done much or anything with apparel yet. As always, ask us and we'll help you make an informed choice on your readiness)
- The Dress No. 2 Pattern from 100 Acts of Sewing
