A beautiful way to add texture and depth to your projects or be the focal point. Sashiko stitching, a traditional Japanese approach to needlework uses different thread and needles than its cousin embroidery. In this two-hour class, you'll learn what the stitches entail, how best to transfer your design and get started on a small project to practice for bigger goals, such as visible mending, wall hangings and more.
