Stitch a little Seattle love!  Perfect your hand embroidery with Robert Mahar as we embellish his original collage created just for this workshop and custom printed on linen cotton canvas.  Beautifully macabre imagery sourced from 19th Century French anatomical teaching charts and botanical illustrations are combined with graphic elements to create this ode to the Emerald City.

Experience Level: Perfectly suited for beginners, instruction will cover solid embroidery basics and essential stitches.  However, students with more embroidery experience are invited to join for a fun refresher course and the opportunity to stitch this unique 12” x 12” sampler. 

Materials Needed: None! All materials (custom sampler, embroidery floss, hoops and needles!) along with instructional diagrams are provided and included in the cost of the class.

Robert Mahar is a Los Angeles based embroidery enthusiast, artist and designer who develops and teaches imaginative crafts and clever do-it-yourself projects and products. Price: $95 (includes three hours of instruction and all materials)

All classes at Drygoods Design require prepayment and registration. In some cases, day-of sign up is available. Classes are non-refundable and held to a strict cancellation policy; please be sure of your schedule prior to registration. Cancellations received 72 hours before the day of class, will be able to redistribute their class fees to another class. Cancellations received less than 72 hours before the day of class or no-shows will forfeit their class fees. We are unable to guarantee the same class or session will be available for rescheduling. Arriving more than 15 minutes late for class without notice may be a forfeit of fees.
