make*do*mend: It’s in the Bag: Totes, Saturday, April 28th - 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
One of our favorite and more gratifying early projects! During this class, you’ll complete a reversible tote bag that will be perfect to carry all those provisions from the store, your gym goods or whatever may be ready to leave the house in style.
Experience level: Beginner (you know how to thread the machine, wind the bobbin and have sewn straight-ish stitches that are still stuck together)
- 1/2 yard home decor or similar weight fabric
- 1/2 yard coordinating home decor or midweight cotton fabric
- 2 yards coordinated cotton webbing 1” to 1.5” wide
- Coordinating spool of thread if you wish to not use white/grey that may be in the studio for your topstitching

If you plan to wash your finished bags, please PREWASH and press your fabrics prior to class. You can also press them in the studio in the hour before class too.
CLASS POLICY: All classes at Drygoods Design require prepayment and registration. In some cases, day-of sign up is available. Classes are non-refundable and held to a strict cancellation policy; please be sure of your schedule prior to registration. Cancellations received 72 hours before the day of class, will be able to redistribute their class fees to another class. Cancellations received less than 72 hours before the day of class or no-shows will forfeit their class fees. We are unable to guarantee the same class or session will be available for rescheduling. Arriving more than 15 minutes late for class may be a forfeit of fees.
