make*do*mend: Handmade Home, Pillows Class - Saturday, November 21st - 2 to 5 p.m.

One of the easiest ways to spruce up your home or switch out tired for fresh - pillows! The three-hour class will focus on the basics of sewing two pillows, including a placket zipper finish and envelope with buttons.

Experience Level: Beginner (you've either taken our This is a Sewing Machine class or feel relatively comfortable on a sewing machine)

Materials needed:

• Two pillow forms - ranging from 12" to 18" in size (if you want to use bigger, please consult for different yardage requirements)

(based on 16" pillow forms)

For zipper finish pillow

• one 12 or 14” zipper (no metal or invisible zippers please)
• coordinating half yard of home decor or midweight cotton fabric

For envelope pillow

• one 3/4 yard or yard of coordinating home decor or midweight cotton fabric.
• Buttons

Cost: $48

All classes at Drygoods Design require prepayment and registration. In some cases, day-of sign up is available. No refunds are offered for classes. Cancellations received 72 hours before class start, will be able to redistribute their class fees to another class. Cancellations received less than 72 hours before class start or no-shows forfeit their class fees. We are unable guarantee the same class or session will be available for rescheduling. Arriving more than 30 minutes late for class may be a forfeit of fees.
