FREE SHIPPING on orders $100 and over. All domestic orders under $100 will be charged a $5 flat-rate shipping fee. 
Orders 13 ounces and under are shipped via USPS First Class and orders 14 ounces and over will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. All domestic orders include a USPS tracking number.

Canada: Shipping to Canada is determined by weight.
Shipments under 2 pounds cost approximately $13 USD and ship via USPS First Class. Shipments between 2-4 pounds cost approximately $23 USD and ship via USPS Priority Mail. 
Shipments over 4 pounds cost $32 USD and ship via USPS Priority Mail. 

International shipping (Excluding Canada): International shipping is determined by weight. 
Shipments under 3.5 pounds are shipped via USPS and cost $20 USD.
Shipments over 4 pounds are shipped via USPS and cost $40 USD. 

With all international orders, if shipping is less than what we charged, we gladly refund you the difference. So if your order seems higher than usual, we'll check in with you. Please never fear. Our goal is be fair and often we pay way more than charged for shipping.


Q: I just made my order, how long before it ships?
A: We make every effort to ship your order the same business day and no more than two business days after you order. You’ll receive an email to let you know it’s shipped too!

Q: Which shipping carriers do you use?
A: We currently ship with the US Postal Service (USPS).

Q: I need the fabric I ordered yesterday practically, ground service won’t do, can you expedite shipping?
A: Yes! We’re happy to expedite shipping at an additional cost. Please select the express shipping option at checkout.

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes, we love spreading the Drygoods Design love across the globe! USPS International Flat Rate is the service we've chosen based on cost and speed. While there's no tracking for orders of four pounds or less, it is the most affordable. About eight to 10 yards of quilting cotton or less equals four pounds. For orders that weight more than four pounds it is higher. Due to a recent increase in domestic and international shipping rates from the US Postal Service on January 22, 2016, Drygoods Design adjusted rates accordingly while still maintaining a discounted shipping experience for both domestic and international customers. Apologies for any inconvenience this might cause. We do remain committed to offering at least a $2 discount on the full international rates from the USPS for orders under four pounds.

Q: I don't live in the U.S. but I'd like to ship my purchase to a US address to save on shipping. Can I do that?
A: As long as you can wait to get your order when you visit or have your friend bring it to you, then yes, you can. Enter your billing information as usual and send us your shipping address via email. We will only capture the US shipping amount not the international amount. We do this often with our international customers who travel to the US and it seems to work well! You can also enter in the billing and shipping addresses separately.

Q: I live in Seattle or am willing to drive to Pioneer Square to pick-up my order. Can I do that?
A: Yes! We ship and fulfill straight from our Pioneer Square storefront location at 301 Occidental Ave. S, Seattle WA 98104. Customers are welcome to pick up their online orders during our regular business hours. We closed on Mondays only.
